Sometimes when an opportunity presents itself in life, you just have to take it.
Wedding Belles is a very long established (almost 20 years in fact), trusted bridal boutique. As a semi-local girl I had the opportunity of moving back from Manchester after 10 years away to a place I considered home. Not only that, I could become part of the Wedding Belles legacy by taking over from Diane following her retirement.
I couldn’t believe my luck when on June 6th 2016 I took ownership of Wedding Belles. With an already exceptional level of service and wide selection of bridal gowns, the platform for me to maintain and build upon was already there, and to top it all off, I inherited an INCREDIBLE team member in Fiona Roberts.
Fi is truly a wealth of knowledge. She has been there (almost) since the beginning of the Wedding Belles story and has earned every chapter in her knowledge base through hard work and dedication. She knows what works and what doesn’t, how to make a bride feel at ease, what to say and when to say it, and she has risen to every challenge I have given her since I took over. I am proud to say that I am the owner of a successful business, and I am privileged to say that Fiona has helped to make the transition seamless.
So, when the Retail Bridalwear Association contacted me to place my votes for the 2017 RBA Awards and asked me if I would like to recommend someone to receive their Special Recognition Award, it was a no brainer. I had to recommend Fi. Our fabulous past and current Wedding Belles already know, and our wonderful future Wedding Belles will soon find out, that Fiona deserves to know that she is great, and the RBA must know too because SHE IS A FINALIST FOR THE AWARD!
On Sunday 5th March 2017 we are off to the big smoke for the London Bridal Show, and on Monday night all our fingers will be crossed as we attend the RBA Awards ceremony. Whether Fi wins or not, she is our champion, but keep your fingers crossed for her too!
We are already winners of the Best Bridal Retailer North Wales award, let’s see what else we can achieve…
